I bought myself a ODB II scan tool to read error codes from my 3200GT (June 2000). However, I am having difficulty locating where to connect it. I read somewhere it should be under the steering wheel but I can't find it. See the pictures below. Anyone that can help me ?

It is normally to the right of the steering wheel, with the socket connections facing forward. I thought that it was 2001 cars onwards that had an OBDII socket, so your car may have the old 3 pin style connector.

My 2000 3200GTA was also 3-pin. You could try an OBD to 3-pin adapter but they tend to be a bit flaky and you end up in the minefield of Unidiag

Only later 2001 models have the OBDII socket. I am sure somewhere there is a list of the chassis numbers which gives the point at which the OBDII came in.
