Hi all.
I've got the same problem as rusty iron had. I've a 4200 GT and a Loudlink with Bluetooth. I updated the firmware using a 1GB SD card and the fw.hex file (V2533) according to the instructions. The Bluetooth is working correctly as it will control the Loudlink from the head unit, e.g. next track, previous track, play, pause etc. and music comes through the speakers as expected.
I put some music files on the SD card, by having 5 directories called 'CD1' CD2' etc. on the SD card and some tracks on each 'CD'. The player will only play tracks from 'CD1' unless I select random play then it will play from he other CDs randomly. I also tried putting music on formatted 4GB and 64GB cards but the Loudlink wouldn't see anything. Does anyone have a definitive view about the format each 'disc' should have and is there a restriction on disc and file names? Is there any documentation available on how to operate the unit?
It's not super important that I get it to work as I can get by with the Bluetooth, but it would be nice to have the option to put all my music on it without clogging up my phone.
Before anyone suggests contacting Arnold, I did try several months ago and heard nothing back. I think he must be busy developing new models for more recent cars now.
Thanks everyone.
