Loudlink Issue

Hi

I performed a throttle reset on my 4200 a few weeks ago and since then my Loudlink has stopped working. I can read the SD card from a PC and I can see the tracks located in the various folders. When I power the unit on, a red light comes on briefly and then goes out. When I select source from the stereo unit, the multi CD is not recognised and it just skips from CD back to radio. I contacted the guys at Loudlink, but they have not replied!!!

Any suggestions or did the loss of power during the reset possibly cause the failure of the Loudlink unit?

Not a problem, I'm guessing the SD card you have in it is > 2gb whilst the loud link can play from HCSD (> 2gb capacity) to set it up you must use a SD card formatted to < 2gb with the flash file on it. Just put a couple of tracks in. Each folder just to test it. Pop it in and turn on and it will initialise just fine.

Good luck.

Yep it's a 2Gb SD card with the flash file and a few tracks loaded. I even tried formatting the card and starting from scratch again.

I use a 128mb SD card for this. You may need to isolate the battery for a moment and start again.
