Yes, I saw Loz's post that he had sold his 4200. Great car on it's way to a fortunate new owner. Hope he or she checks in......

Oh and Loz, welcome to the world of single Trident ownership! :D Don't sell the GS until after LMC!! :D

Frank, wanted this to run a bit longer. Your too eager lol.
Yep, a few on here, knew, i was after buying a 4200 CC. A certain member, offered his car for sale, and I agreed to pay him the asking price.
As i Live in Southern Spain, I booked a Ferry, Sorted a B&B out[deposit], and on the eve of traveling, he pulled out of the deal!!
Anyway, I asked Loz, if he knew any cars around for sale, and he offered his 4200CC. Now I know Loz, is a top bloke, so from being down in the dumps, and nearly £700 down, off i travelled, upto sunny Milton Keynes.
The car is more, then i expected. Top car, top bloke.
Thanks Loz, you also went the extra mile for me. Will not be forgotten!!
I am now a proud owner of a 4200CC. After being also in Loz's GS, this 4200CC, is more aggressive. Wants to rev, and go hard. The GS, is more laid back. But those Larini pipes!!!! Very loud!!

Andy.

Aha! Many congratulations Andy. That's a pucker motor you've gotten yourself. Agree with you on the characteristics of the 4200 compared to the GS, though I have to say that once you learn to lean on the GS loud pedal a bit more it's more than willing! :D

Look forward to hearing your experiences as you get to grips with your Trident.

Will do Miles.
Just a big grin factor. Need to upgrade sunglasses, as most people ogle me and the car!
Also, need to get to grips with the left paddle, being in way of indicator.

Great to see Loz's pride and joy has gone to a real enthusiast! Enjoy, have fun and above all be safe.

I suppose we need to give Loz a day or two to recover....he did like that car.

Can't say I ever noticed that Andy, so would hope you'll get used to it pretty quickly.

Did you drive it back to Spain or transport it?

He even polished it, after the sale! Its, or was his baby. I have promised, to pamper her, and drive her, as a Maser should be.
Got a 3 hours drive [M25 extra time], to Portsmouth docks, then at Santander, 620 miles of grin factor!

Andy.

If Loz was going to do it, he would do it properly.....enjoy the years of pampering, care and love Loz dispensed on that car!

As am sure you realised, buying RHD gives you so much more value for money, plus a well known car, plus you can justify it so much more on so many levels!

Yep, that sounds just like Loz. If I remember the mileage on the 4200 correctly you have a lot of catching up room, so no excuses in holding him to your promise to drive her. :D

Dont go ruining my image Andy , i was just caressing her hips and saying goodbye with a fibre cloth and bit of harleys for the very last time ....thats all , and yes it maywell have been 6am this morning but thats me , had a quick hunt for the other key in the GS and around the house and i cant see it anywhere , weird cos i had it in my hand for at least 10 mins with the other keys , if what ever reason it doesn't come to light i'll do a deal with you and go halves on a new one , if it comes to light in the coming days i can either send it on to you or to the mother inlaw which address ive already got

Enjoy her mate whip her lovingly and she respond with all the gracefullness of a true Italian mistress , nurture her and pamper her afterwards to the extent that your missus gets extremely Jealous and it will pay huge dividends dont forget the pics at the garage when you get home or even post them on here when you have a spare moment

warmest regards loz

Im afraid that if there is an unsightly stain on the passenger seat you can blame me..........Loz took me around the block in his pride and joy and I wet myself :tomato9:

Well done Andy and Loz glad it went well for you guys.
For me i just could not part with my first Maserati who is my first true Italian mistress.
I think when you get a good one you will keep her and get others to have along side.
Maybe i might be as Italian as Enzo.
I feel for the guys who have come along on this Great Forum and been financially riuned with their Italian dream car.
Best wishes to you all,
Phil.
