Can anyone recommend covered parking at Terminal 1 Manchester please?
I dont really want to leave the Masser at one of these places they park you car and you get a shuttle bus, I've always used them before but not in the GT
I'll be heading to T1 on the Monday and returning on Friday, has anyone had any problems with batteries going flat in that time in an airport park? I've got Maserati Assist but the last thing I want it to be stuck in a park after an 8 hour flight on a cold November morning.
Thanks Nick

I always use meet n greet, not sure if T1 is covered though ring up and check. I normally go through a third party and its a little bit cheaper.

The shuttle car parks are pants, slightly cheaper but not a pain.

Thanks but I didn't want anyone driving the car

Check re the VIP parking as I think they leave them parked and don't move them, I didn't mind with the porsche but same thoughts with maserati I wouldn't like them to be moving her or touching.

Pre-book T1 short stay multistory - costs 50 Monday morning to Friday evening. You park it, it's under cover and you keep the keys. Ten quid per day...

Seems the safest and guaranteed.

Don't forget your pass to get through security for 3.50, best money ever spent if on early morning flight.

I've used this before and they want you to leave the keys. When we went we parked up near the office and they moved the car into a space from where we collected it on return. Wasn't too bothered when I had a Jag but wouldn't want them doing it with the Maser (remember Ferris Bueller?!).

Which is why I've always pre-booked the short stay. It doesn't cost that much, the car is under cover, and it's a 2 minute walk to/from the terminal. Do it at Heathrow too, unless using T5.

Manchester Airport security is totally random at the moment. Sometimes you walk through, sometimes its half an hour. And what's worse is getting back in to the country. The e-passport gates are out of service so you can wait up to an hour if you arrive at a time when several long hauls come in. It's almost as bad as US immigration, total joke. T1 Meet and Greet is fine, they tend to line up the 'premium' vehicles together right next to the kiosk so I'm not sure they even drive it away for you.
