My workshop just finished the gruesome heater core / dashboard out job and of course the clock has decided to give up the ghost...when will it ever end???

Anybody have experience with this? Can it be repaired?

Thank you!

If that's doesn't work I would assume the clock is not getting power, pinched or severed wire, make them take it out again :)

Think you can get to it via one of the vents.

Try disconnecting and reconnecting the battery this worked on my 3200 after the clock had stopped when it had been disconnected for a major service.

If you remove the top centre vent on the dashboard you can access the rear of the clock. It's possible the wire either wasn't connected, or not pushed far enough in. IIRC you can attach the wire to the clock with t in situ. If not you need to GENTLY push the clock out from behind - do not use levers on the front.

Don't like the culture of blame the last man working on it it's Italian you know.

Woah! Who's blaming the last guy? I'm just tired of the never ending issues on the car...just as it was ready to be delivered after being off the road for over a month.
