To be fair to the OP, it is a very nice looking car that has obviously been loved.

If you like the 'strad' look, but have no where near the budget and want more "show than go" then it would appeal.

It is definitely worth more than a standard 4.2, which looking on AT range from 20k - 25k ish. Having just been serviced, and had new suspension arms/bushes, cam cover gaskets and rust treatment, should be a couple of years cheap running compared to others of the same age and mileage (depending on brake condition and variators).

Can't blame him for chancing his arm, but I'd say if has had a genuine 30k offer, that is a very good one.

GLWTS, hope you find the right buyer.

Take the money!

It's a small market, and a modified car, no matter how well its been put together attracts less. Sell it to the bloke in the plus fours and Pringle jumper.

It's worth what someone is willing to pay in the current climate and that is not £33k. The 4.2 to 4.7 is quite a step up too so I don't agree with that, the sound, the throttle response, just everything... I'm selling my Ghilbi at the moment and I will end up giving it away at this rate...

If I were you I'd take £30k for it as it might be the last and best offer you get!

Can't believe you still have the Ghibli. I'll have it when you get to giving it away time. You know, just to be a pal and all that.

Agreed, there’s a buyer for everything and he only needs one.
Someone out there may well want to give the impression they own a Strad and that’s a lot cheaper.
Looks nice GLWTS.

I think we all know that there is no offer of £30k. Well, not by someone sober that would actually proceed. Pringle jumper or not.

I agree, it's a lovely looking car, but.........It's a Sheep in Wolf's clothing! Surely you'd rather have a Wolf in Sheep's clothing??!!
