Hi Parisien,

I don't get any boominess, really, perhaps for a second or two when the load changes and you tranverse from on off power, speed and gear selection all play a role, but not at constant rev's or speed..

Thats the trade off then for plain straight throughs then..................but still love the noise.....and therefore drive outside of that range and drop the window a tad.....:)

I almost never play the stereo,, I have the window open the whole time espcially today,,, we get a lot of blue sky's here....and fantastic sunsets... I prefer to listen to my maserati flute in the tunnels.. and under bridges..etc..

Haaaahhhaaaaaaaa........living in the Irish out back as I do..........;).......no bridges or tunnels within 80 miles......( the Dublin port tunnel is a mile long but I aint paying 10 euro to use it!)..............but crossing over to Wales by ferry on the A55 there are 3/4 tunnels........................its ssssssooooooooooooooooooooooo fab to drop two gears and put the foot down..............seriously addictive....:)

Great catching up with everyone and what a beautiful sight it was with all those Maseratis all in a line?
By the time I got home in the Monte I was hot, sweaty and uncomfortable.
All part of the joy.

P

I'm with you, P. put my foot down hard the other day and the back just started slithering. A brief moment of anticipation, one of joy... and then a rapid retreat. *sigh*

Thanks Dem, now let me break your heart by telling you it's 10 mins from the CBD. Lots of folk go there for lunchtime swims.

Hi Geoff... you forgot to mention to Dem that the venue for this mornings breakfast is also just a stones throw from the Albert park Formula One street circuit, which is currently being prepared for the upcoming F1 race in Melbourne...

You also forgot to mention that a few of us also had a few sneak peeks at the sights on the beach... God Bless Melbourne women and their skimpy bathing costumes! :beach:

(I would like to give a special mention to the two forgetful ladies who left half their bathing costumes at home! :urock: )
