That's not a headline you'll see very often, if ever, but in comparison to renovating our old victorian house it's absolutely true! As my wife and I discover yet another ceiling is ******* and will have to come down it puts the cost I've spent on the car into perspective.

Completely agree with you RM. We call our house Rubble Cottage, and with good reason!

if anything i prefer older houses, ours is a modern build (2002) and yeah i like it but it is quite boring compared to an older style house. Barn conversions are my fave.

Think i have turned this thread on it's roof already and this is not Kirstie Allsop posting.

Must bring up that point to my wife, our place (Home & Business) was built in 1791 and I've spent at least 3 MC shifts on doing it up and it's still not over!

I live in a flat, nice flat but still the cost is not on your levels.....
I have spent 1 MC shift though for the wedding!!

You are correct I owned a GS for 2 and a half years and never really had a fault. Occasionally it would throw up the odd error but nothing to date to cause any long term concern! These cars are ultra reliable I M H O
