I'm still on the fence with the MC20. I so want to like it but I'm just not wowed .... and certainly not to the point of dropping £200k.

That said, there is very little that I actually would spend my money on at the moment as an every day car. I have looked at Portofinos, Cali Ts and FFs but just haven't been persuaded to leave a deposit. After Christmas I will be having another look but in the interim I have been enjoying my TR6 as my daily driver alongside racking up miles on the F4.

When I went to see the one on tour the salesman reckoned they wouldn’t get one as a demo for a long time such was the demand against build times.

Ah right. Clearly not working for them.

What sort of waiting time is there for a new one…Anyone know and have they good a healthy order book ?
Yes they’re all allocated hence no physical cars available. Waiting list is about 12 months for a factory order.

My local MD has been allocated 2 cars that have not been previously speced by an owner/purchaser. I'll try to find out when they are due

It’s weird with this car. For me it is such an event and something that Maserati should be shouting about very loud but with COVID it has just slipped through the net … or so if feels like. Customers cars are being delivered yet there has been very limited road tests it seems. This is a big deal for Maserati as far as a halo car is concerned…I would have expected more fuss.
Totally agree with this. Seems really odd that YouTube doesn’t seem to be lit up with test drives and reports given how important this car seems to be to Maserati. Maybe the brand just doesn’t fly in that world.
Anyway we’ll done to Dicky on selling a nice car at a fair price. Happy days for someone!

According to UK PR very few British journalists/magazines were willing to go out for the first test drives prior to Goodwood this year.
Auto Italia went out more recently - sadly not me - and took it up and down the Furka Pass, I think there were other Brits there but it might have been a tight list or mags/journos didn’t fancy the prospect of struggling to get back to the UK (possibly), or budgets were tightened.

The UK was getting a press car when I asked in the summer, but with so few cars ‘spare’ then that may have changed.
