At this point Wattie. I've given up trying to figure out what Truss & Co are attempting to do.
If you believe the anecdotes floating around. She alienates everyone that questions her.
I watched her 'debate' with Starmer at PMQs and both her words and her facial expressions were
not Prime Ministerial in the least. The rest of the cabinet are no/little better.

We need a reset alright. A political reset! Urgently. Truss must be on borrowed time.
What is needed is everyt
James Cleverly has already defended her by saying that another change of PM is too early.

Which is like the football clubs chairman saying 'we have every confidence in the manager '
Not until I blow the whistle.
you ain’t blowing my whistle!
Ok I give in…..

What I can't understand about Putin is, he says he's ridding Ukraine of Nazis(small element of truth with the Azov battalion) but then loans Marine Le Pen's party millions, Putin's supporters include Greece's Neo-Nazi party Golden Dawn and Jobbik in Hungary.

It's his method of the destabilisation of the West, Trump, Brexit ( let's not debate that), Bolsonarro and many others.
He's basically in charge of the biggest cartel ever. A weak west is a stronger Russia. It doesn't stop there, Germany's reliance on Russian gas was brought about by a strong anti-nuclear power policy, so he may have funded the Green Party, pure conjecture but I wouldn't put it past him. (Even though gas is worse than nuclear power but people don't think energy through enough)

Spent 6 weeks in Leipzig back in the sixties studying Laser Theodolite technology at the Carl Zeiss institute ostensibly sharing with them what we new :conf4:. Had a Statzi man follow me everywhere when outside my digs. Never said a word to me but never more than 20 feet away. Even in cafes he would move people from a table so he could see who i was talking to. Statzi or KGB they are all the same, dedicated control freaks getting off on the power they hold over people and the fear they instill. Putin clearly gets off on being a complete psychopathic thug and considers a willingness to negotiate as a sign of weakness. Macron's latest comments must have given him an urgent need for a bit of intimate privacy...................:nodisturb:

The Stasi were far better than the KGB at population control. They had files on EVERYONE. If you included, informants one in every 6 people worked for them, this clearly left an impression on a young KGB officer.

Yep that's it Martin. Everything played into his hands, the green brigade have got a lot to answer for. To be fair to Trump he did warn Germany they would be at the mercy of Putin with gas.

Having lived in Germany, I knew that one was inland near Bielefeld so the Fukushima Disaster argument was null and void. Nuclear has to factor in a diverse portfolio of energy sources. If Trump told that to zee Germans, then clearly they are Dummkopfs

I see that Musk’s magnanimity and altruism are ifirmly bounded by the borders of his ego.

“Musk’s argument with officials in Kyiv after he proposed a peace plan that involved Ukraine surrendering territory. In response Andrij Melnyk, the Ukrainian ambassador to Germany, advised Musk to “f*** off”.

Musk appeared to confirm the withdrawal of Starlink yesterday when he responded to a tweet about Melnyk’s expletive by saying: ‘We’re just following his recommendation.’ ”

Exact same pattern with the Thai school kids cave rescue.

Reports are the Russians are forcibly sending civilians on vacation from Kherson.
Let’s hope it’s not preparing the ground for the use of nasty weapons.
Others are suggesting it could be the carrot dangling for a start to peace talks. Let’s see.

They're forcibly sending children to foster parents in Russia. Genocide by other means

He's a huckster and a fraud and wholly dependent on the largesse of government. Another Trumpf, or a latter-day PT Barnum.
