Music - suitable MP3 player for 4200

another question chaps!

I've read previously on this forum there is a mp3 player (uses SDHC card 8gb) that plugs in to the same cable as the 6 cd changer....can remember the make of it but didn't seem expensive. So my questions are:-

1 - Has anybody got this system in their car?
2 - Are there other CD changers that one can buy for the maser which will play CD's that have MP3 songs on them?
3 - Is there a cable that you could plug your phone in to (I have an HTC desire - not sure if socket is same as Iphone)?

Hi Marcus,

I and a few others with the 4200 have gone down the Loudlink route and for me it works well, I have the AUX version allowing any MP3 machine or i-pod to link in via the AUX cable jac.

There is an alternative solution that only gives you an i-pod connection I think but I never persued that one...

I run an 8gb HDSD card but you do need an old SD card , 2gb to be able to flash the device and set it up. Also remember to isolate the battery before connecting a loudlink or like me you may pop a fuse!
