Whilst cyclists can be aggravating guys........and knowing a few people killed off them.......I always...always give them a wide birth and as much space as they need........the human body is very frail in real terms.......keep the world safe guys!

Oh I do, but this guy wasn't stopping as he came out of the roundabout, he was looking right at me! Nwo I ride a motorbike and I cycle too, but this guy was basically playing chicken!

Just the other day, I over took a cyclist on my Kawasaki and pulled up at some traffic lights on red and indicated left, the cyclist, who I overtook came up on my right (wise move, since he saw my indicator). Whilst the lights were on red, this other cyclist went straight through at pace! I turned to the cyclist and he looked at me and we both shook our heads in mutual understanding that some people are destined not to live much longer on this planet.

Hi chippie, have you tried pushing the latch further in to the open position, sometimes the latch will actually open the boot, but if it has not gone fully open, it will not return. See if you can get the latch to click in to the fully open position, you might need to put the key in and turn it whilst you are doing this, it could just be sticking.

thanks for all the tips guys, it looks like its the solenoid has gone for the boot release system which doesn't bother me too much as I can only open the boot with the key
