My cheap private reg for my GTS

Alright guys, after a long search and with a measly max budget, i ended up buying:

V800 GTS, for 400 quid from the dvla website.

Good buy, perhaps even an investment, or simply a waste of money????

Hi scotpak,
no way a waste of money...it has v8 and gts in there, so certainly car relevant...
can't see it ever fetching big money, but as long as you like it that's all that matters.

What a great plate for your car.....Always go through the DVLA if you are after a plate as the prices are good....If you use one of the number plate companies they charge more for the same plate . Most of the plates these companies sell are with the DVLA and all they do is buy then from the DVLA and charge you more....But they sit with the DVLA until these companies get a punter who wants the plate....

MA53 GTS is still available for very cheap money!! I thought it was pretty cool, but i guess it doesnt look like a private plate.

I love plates and have them on my cars (plus have 3 on retention!), but part of me wants to put the age plate back on my GS. Seriously thought about GS07 MAS to go with the guys on here....hmm, every time we talk about plates it gets me thinking!

MA53 GTS is still available for very cheap money!! I thought it was pretty cool, but i guess it doesnt look like a private plate.

I've had MA55 GTS on my QP GTS since new. Occasionally civilians think its a 55 plate (it is 2008) but car people get it and I've been offered several times the sum the DVLA sold it for. MA54 GTS is on a black GTS local to me. I am surprised MA53 GTS is still available.

Love that V 88 HPS (V8 BHPS). I've got one that I've got my eye on which is personal but can be construed as something else. V80 HMG or V8 OH MG or Oh My God or Oh Martin Griffin only £405 currently, and if anyone grabs it I'll come round and give them a severe chinese burn! you have been warned!!! LOL
