I seem to notice, almost all photo's posted by English people the car's are always wet, does it rain alot over there? =)

I certainly feels like it sometimes, but no, we have had a lot if hose pipe bans in recent years and summer 2013 was one if the hottest and driest I can remember.

Winters are quite depressing though but there is a lot to be said for seasons.

The UK must have one of the most diverse weather systems, being an island too.

Winter, temperatures can drop to minus 20 and summer has hit 40, so a temperature swing of 50-60 degrees is quite normal.

Wet climate does have its bonuses too, it's very green and great for grass which is probably why our cricket team is so superior ;-)

It does but the benefits are we have enough water for our household needs.

Seriously, the weather here is very location dependent, it rains twice as much in the west than the east roughly speaking.

It does rain quite a lot here but that makes it easier to slide the back end.

Ok, a hint of sarcasm there, but we will be back its just a hiccup that needs to get sorted.

TBF, the Aussies have been appalling of late and its good to see them back to some serious competition.

The girlfriend would definitely agree with you on that one, gets very windy in my bedroom!.....not sure about wet though, hence the Pluggers....;)
