My new GTS

Hi Guys

As promised on my GTS prices & insurance threads here are the pics of my new GTS.

Drove it first thing this morning. Amazing. Although my 997 probably had better handling, everything else, e.g. acceleration, looks, sense of occasion, MC Shift etc etc is much better!!!

I was a wee bit worried about the 20" birdcage alloys (the neptune ones looked much nicer on the net), but in real life they look amazing, and any doubts I had about the MC Shift paddle were also blown away!

And for some strange reason, my wife loved it as well (she hated the Porsche)!!

Oh and my baby seat base clipped straight into the isofix in the back seats.

Great feeling going out with the whole family on the weekend in a gorgeous car!

Enjoy your Maser. Women tend to react better to the Maser than a 911.

Wheels look fine BTW.

Will it fit in your garage?

I dont know why they make single garages!! biggest waste of time ever. I could probably drive in, but I reckon I wouldnt be able to open the door!

anyway, i live on a cul de sac off another cul de sac, and am behind electronic gates, so cars pretty safe.

Sure it will be safe.

Wherever I live I always have garaging for one less car than I own.

Hi w5pwr!

Yes it was Mosi's car!!! How do you know him? I knew he was called Mosi as I saw his posts on pistonheads.

Anyway, super nice guy, who gave me great deal!

Looks a stunner Scotpak. Congratulations. Hopefully the worst of the weather is behind us now (fingers crossed) so lots of opportunity to get out there and get to know it. Look forward to hearing how you get on.

Hi Bob

Hes replaced it with a C63 AMG, as he needed enough space in the back for his 3 kids!!

Hes still got his Ferrari Scuderia when he needs to go for a blast, so I think he will be fine!! :)

Only know Steve through various forums, I knew he just sold his with those wheels on and you don't see many GTS with them on........

Enjoy the car, they are great fun!

Fair enough. New QP is too far off I guess.

yes, thats it.

Initially advert had very little detail, and obviously pics were not the best, thus must have been overlooked alot. But then he updated the ad with alot more detail, and I got in straight away, cos I knew he was gonna be flooded with interest (which he was!)

I guessed that there would not be many opportunities to pick up such cars privately and at such a discount so went flying in! Warranty till Oct 2013 was also a huge draw for me!

Stunning...well done great purchase...For what it's worth I think the Birdcage is one of the nicest alloys Maserati make....

nice - same colour scheme (inside and out) as my gran cabrio, apart from the fact I have red stitching on the seats to match the brake calipers
