New Acquisition - Ferrari 308

Not been around much as been busy getting things sorted. Can finally re-start the Bora's re-paint so in due course will start putting some pictures up of that.

In the meantime I also have another little plan and as part of that bought this home on Friday I know it isn't a Maserati but thought you might like to see it anyway - never thought I would buy a Ferrari, let alone a red one but it just happened to be the right car at the right time. So at least whilst I am waiting to get the Bora back I have something interesting to play with

It is a 1985 308 GTS Quattrovalve

Just need to find a decent number plate for it now.

Thanks. It isn't 100% but it is a straight car in very good condition and it will not take much to sort the few bits that need doing. Plan for now is to use it and sort things out later.

Thanks Adam, I am supposed to be working tomorrow (Sunday lunchtime being one of our busier times) so probably not sadly. It has done 48000, didn't want anything to low mileage as you wouldn't want to drive it.

That's a great plan Robin, it's nice to get things sorted, but nothing quite like driving these machines

Looks lovely, didn't come from anywhere around Dudley did it? I saw one at a tyre fitters a couple of weeks ago there and they were in the engine bay going at it with a large rubber mallet!!!

No not from anywhere near Dudley.........

The guy I bought it from was a bit OCD so I doubt he would have let anyone touch it with a large rubber hammer, he warned us before we went to look at it that he wouldn't take it out of the garage if the ground was wet let alone if it was raining!

I think it might need a sports exhaust too. Why can't I keep a car standard?!?!

You should go for the sports exhaust, my friends dad has a 308 GTSi which is fitted with a sports exhaust, sounds awesome.
