Guys,

I have just ordered my larini's a full sports set front to back???

I can't wait to hear them. I am going to baseline dyno the car first beforehand then do it again afterwards to see if and what power they might really give the car..

Trouble is with all that snow you have things are not moving fast in this direction so best I have a another beer by the pool and wait patiently in the sun..

Life is good, A maserati, beer and the sun..plus the sound of Larini's ringing in your ears, I hope mine sound like yours Enzo I was in two minds to order the H pipe or x pipe centre sections..

Life will never be the same now you have Larini's...Good choice...

Post is slow so may take a while...Been waiting 7 days for something that would take 1 day to be delivered in normal conditions.

Congratulations, I'm certain you will love them Ozzie :D
Just give the whole system a few weeks/few hundred miles to bed in nicely as the sound changes a little...
When I first got mine, I thought it was a little too loud, so I swapped out the x-pipe for the OEM centre section,
then after a few hundred miles the x-pipe went back on and will never come off again :D :D
Good idea to get a benchmark on the dyno before and after to see if there is a difference in bhp,
I know the ECU's on these are self-learning, but am not sure if the car will need manual 'tweeks' to take
advantage of the increased breathing capability, or whether it will adjust itself...
be very interested to hear you experience.
I know mine feels like it rev'd easier with the sports exhaust.
Regards,
Enzo.

Nice one Ozzie, Prepare yourself for the Larini orchestra. You won't be disappointed. Have you gone for X or H?

Well H at the second but after Enzo's comments I might change it I kind of chickened out as some folk on here said the X pipe was too loud!!

I love my neighbours and they love me more since the GS hit the street. So I don't think they will hate me apart from if I go out at 06:00hrs its pretty quite where I live as in a pin drop!!! the QP has double glazing does it not?? more sound insulation as its a more modern car. Ummm,,,ummm !! what to do... :banghead2:

Hi Ozzie, I have Larini sports cats, H-pipe and back boxes on my 4200 and believe me, they're plenty loud enough! :) I suspect the QP cabin will be a quieter place than my 4200, but as I pull through the gears, there's a point where the Larini's really resonate with a deep 'boom' in the cabin. It's okay, but any more would be intrusive, particularly when I'm hitting that point repeatedly in slow traffic.

Currently there is only a X Pipe available for the QP, but Larini will use my car in the new year to develop a new H Pipe.

Ozzie you are right, the QP, does have Double Glazing!
