Nothing wrong with the looks as such, but could be a Lexus or anything generic. What a shame, but that's how to sell a car to the A'Merkins :(

Lewis, aslong as they keep it over there, it has no place over here.

Depreciation anyone?

Just saw it on Twitter, it is terrible, i bet it will sell over here though, a nice alternative to a Cayenne although the only Cayenne that is selling is the V6 petrol and the diesel.

Nope, seen lots of pics not and really, really dont like it. The only bit I do like are the rear lights, and they are ripped off an Alfa, infact the whole car looks Alfa, or more so, an Alfa that got rejected.

Very, very poor show Maserati.

Let's compare it to its competitors: BMW X5, Porsche Cayenne and Audi Q7.

Fair to say it looks better and will be more exclusive.

Interior photos are still missing (those in the link are from the GranCab).

The key will be for it to drive well, then orders will flow.

'fraid not, more likely a nice soft opening cubby hole for HUGE sunglasses, and nice illuminated lipstick mirrors in all seats.

Target audience?
Current Maserati buyers, getting 2nd car OR anyone buying usual "premium 4x4" looking to buy some class. Thsi will not be a driver's car in the mould of Cayenne Turbo.

On what evidence do you say that Rob?

Evo has an article (online) saying "Maserati's chassis development team is known to be spending considerable time in the US working ... to ensure it delivers a brand appropriate experience".

I'd give them the benefit of the doubt.
