Hi all,

New to the forum and Maserati’s. I am a week into ownership of my 2004 Spyder Cambriocorsa.

First Maserati and Italian car for that matter. Had lots of TVRs over the years and always fancied one of these. Have to say I’m converted. Can’t see myself letting go of this car, it’s superb!

Look forward to learning lots on here and getting involved.

I’m based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. Anyone local to me?

Enough talking, here are some pics..

Congrats and welcome. Great looking car and perfect for the imminent switch to BST. I'm based in Herts, but become local to you when my QP gets fixed at Giallo in Tonbridge!

Congratulations and welcome. They are cracking cars, I had the tintop 4200 with it's longer wheelbase but have had the fortune of driving SteviePea's GS Spyder (and will hopefully do so again for Le Mans!) . The shorter wheel base makes them more 'sporty' but still a competent grand tourer.

Enjoy, btw we have an events page, check it out as you're not far from a few things, be good to meet you and the Spyder in the flesh.

Thanks! I too have the car booked in on 8th Aril to sort a few bits. Very handy having them just down the road!

Remember seeing that advertised, looked like the previous owner had pampered it and put on the sports cats which are worthwhile. Being a 2004 comes with the best suspension setup and glass rear window, I’m sure you’re going to really enjoy it.

Thank you, loving it so far! Dare I say it, but I think it may be a keeper!

Thanks very much, I do plan to get along to some events, I was very sociable during my TVR ownership days and plan to do the same with the Maser. Looking forward to meeting new faces

Welcome and as others have gushed, excellent colour combination.
While we do derive a little bit of schadenfreude, when a new owner arrives in a blizzard of bits,
having followed his little brain and bought a vehicle fit only for parting out.
It is heart warming to welcome a new owner who has clearly done his homework and
chosen wisely. Not only that, but with the flair and élan worthy of an Italian, chosen a vehicle
already fitted with a sports exhaust.
Permit me to correct myself in one respect. We do not own our Maseratis in the way one might own
a Ford or Volkswagen. We are custodians. Caring for and cherishing these sublime creations, so that
in a world run by accountants where the pressure is to conform, we preserve something of what it means
to be a red meat eating, ale and red wine drinking man's man.
"Smoke me a kipper. I'll be back for breakfast!"
