Agree with the Station wagon looking like an Audi and the Giulia face replicating the Giulietta, which I don't really care for.

Shame if it does turn out like this as wanted an Alfa Giulia for the daily mile muncher duties.

I could understand this if it was a Chrysler 300 updated front end. yes I can see the Alfa design cues but I don't think I would buy one. The alfa 156 I yearned for 12 week delivery seemed like years. The 159 Ti I wanted as soon as I set eyes on it as much for the interior as the exterior everything just seemed right with the package.

This Alfa seems a little out of place and not sure what it wants to be. I would hate to see the brand vanish but I don't think that this car is the answer.

The estate picture has been around for ages, it is just a photo-shopped Giulietta, I think that we will have to wait for them to launch it before we find out what it looks like.

As Wowbagger has said, all the images online are guesses at what the new Alfa will look like. They (Alfa) have been very good this time at keeping the design under wraps. Apparently 15 of the new model were produced at the Cassino factory last week, for the Milan Expo launch on June 24th.

There are loads of images of the Giulia online all different. The good news is that the number of people who seem to be awaiting the official launch but like all Alfas you need to see them before you can make a real judgement. If the rumours are true, rear wheel drive and decent power plants for a more sporty feel is certainly the direction I want to see Alfa moving to. Fingers crossed they bean counters don't f*ck it up

For me, Alfa has been getting stronger and stronger from the 147 & 156 onwards which is great to see. It seems build quality & reliability is as good as their competitors too which is excellent news going forward
