New Tires For My Gransport!

Okey, the French Government has said my tires are starting to get raw on the inside (not outside). So time to buy a new set of 4.

Last I checked, the sizes are:
Front: P235/35R19 and
Rear: P265/30R19

Rated for Y (or (Y) )?

I use this car as a daily driver. Normally the temperature is above 1c and below 35c. I rarely will drive if it's cold. But sometimes torrential rains hit.

Normally, I use Pirellis.

I was thinking:
Pirellia PZERO, but not sure what is the difference between '*****', versus the others (L, Direzion K1 LS, MC1, etc).

I also heard things about Goodyear:
Goodyear EAGLE F1. But not sure if Asymmetric, or Supersport.

I'm open to suggestions. My main concern is grip (during wet and during hot climate -- which is why I like the pirelli's they seem to really stick to the ground when its' 30c outside).

Thank you.

Having had them fitted to my GS, as well as various friends that have had them fitted to their performance car. Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S are the best at the moment

Pirreli Pzeros have less of a fan base here in the UK, I suspect because we don't get consistently warm conditions. For that reason most people go for the Michelins. I'm currently giving the Goodyear Asymmetrics a go, but due to sizes needs to be 2s on one axle and 5s on the other, from memory (could be wrong about the numbers but you'll soon find out when you go looking). Happy so far, and considerably cheaper.

i have a set of the goodyear eagle F1 asymetric on my car at the moment and i am quite pleased with them, pretty good grip on the B roads, ride is not too harsh and good all round in the wet and snow too.

Another PS4S vote. Just awesome. So much better in the cold and greasy conditions that winter brings. I look forward to seeing how they behave in the summer, but am sure I will remain delighted.

Another vote for the Michelin PS4S from me. A very strong tyre in all conditions and as a bonus it doesn't wear out quickly either.

Not sure how much you stand to save but I also recommend the Goodyear Assy 5 if it is a reasonable saving.

I had Ultra Vortis on a previous car. They are a good mid range tyre but not up to the standard of either the above. I guess it depends on how you intend to drive, your annual mileage and what you value the most in a tyre. The dry grip of the Michelins has to be experienced to be believed.

Wow, no Bridgestone on this list....are they not available for sale in Europe? I live in Canada and follow the Tire Rack recommendations. Michelin gets the top marks here too with Bridgestone close behind. This is subjective but I liked the thread profile on the Bridgestone much better than the Michelin hence bought the Bridgestone

I got 2 x Assy 5 and 2 x Assy 2 (the 5s aren't made in 265/30R19) for under £500 inc VAT and delivery from Black Circles. The Michelins would have been about another £150 (30%). Thought it worth a try.
