Hi all,

I'm just saying hello and introducing myself to the forum as next week I will be picking up my new 3200:). Its just having the final bits and bobs sorted, then its all mine! I was about 2 seconds in to the test drive when I knew this was the one for me, so as you can imagine, i'm counting down the days till I get the keys in my hand.
Its in Nero Carbonio and sounds fantastic, don't think the radio will ever get switched on
It was one of Richard Grace's, so I'm hopeful my first foray into Maserati ownership will be a dream and not an expensive nightmare!
I've been a long time lurker here, but have a reason to join now!

Cheers,

Many congratulations John,

Ah the countdown to picking up a Maserati. Sorta like waiting for Santa.

If it's one of Dickie's then you can't really ask for a better start.

Look forward to more details over the coming weeks.

Well done John.......as per Allanwf post.....be careful first few weeks, slippy white lines, coming off a roundabout, tramping too ******* loud pedal in wrong conditions has caught out a few owners in first week or two....but enjoy!!

Thanks for the words of advice all of you, I'll try to drive steady till I get use to its performance. As Allan will be able to testify, I've been on about wanting to own one of these for years so I will be treating it with kid gloves for a long while after I get it!
Stuart, I'm the opposite end of the county to you but us yellow-bellies obviously have fine tastes!

Congratulations on a sound purchase.

Agree with all advice given.
Would just add that its a good idea to leave the traction control button alone until you get a feel for the car. Listen out for it cutting in to get an idea of how easy it can be to spin a wheel up. Keep an eye on the rev counter too, especially if you drive other cars in between outings, the turbos spool up pretty quick when they get going.

Enjoy it, I've had mine just over a year now and it still makes me smile like a kid at christmas.
