Hi guys,
I know some of you dont read the **** that is the news of the world but i do buy it every sunday, mainly because of the sport & the stories, it makes it a magazine ish paper for me...

Just bought it today & im little sad, dont think they should have stopped it altogether as they all at it....every journalist has turned to "lazy journalism" to get their stories but looks like NOTW has been hit the most....

Sorry if its not an interesting tread just thought ill bring it up as its an english institution....

They paid the price of intrusive journalism. They thought they could do what they wanted and were untouchable. They weren't, and they brought down an institution. They should be ashamed, but probably wont be.

Im with you benny, not defendig them at all!!
What they did to the girls that went missing & killed was disgusting but im just saying that most papers use these methods.....

Guys the NOTW.......should be called....."Malicious gossip and dirt digging Rag"...is reflective of the society we live in, both from state institutions and what people are prepared to do and to nosey into other peoples lives....because their own lives are mundane and pointless.

UK, hosts the highest number CCTV cameras per head of population in world, its renown as being a country long controlled by its vast and subtle network of spying activities and subterfuge, from many bodies and institutions......eventually these activities spill over into the "real" world...why be surprised?

I am not, nor am I horrified......sorta expected.

If you/we/I only knew the 1/4 of it.......

The Sun On Sunday will be out in a few weeks so its really a pointless stunt by News International...

Dem I have to say that I'm glad that it's gone. Will be replaced with Sunday Sun or the like but intrusive journalism like that has to end.

Agree Pibbow........Its time that the gutter press..well goes back to the gutter and back under the stones they all crawled out of...

I know peter but they all at it.....
The paper has been gong since 1841 was it really the only way of dealing with it??

Every papaer does it so is it not time that others came under the spotlight??

Dem all Murdoc is worried about is the Sky deal, he would sell his own mother for it. Thanks to the way they ( News International) have performed he has a great hill to climb now and with some luck and balls our "establishment" will keep him at bay.

I am not his greatest fan by the way!

That is a sh!!t paper, full of bloody holiday adverts, we used to have that and stopped having it because of the adverts, Sunday Times is the best by a mile, there is something for everyone, you get newspapers for £2.

That's a bit of a sweeping generalisation Andy. As any C63 driver will tell you, the 'Sunday Sport' is a paper with it's finger on the pulse.
