R600 RTGWhat’s the plate- interested to have a look
Amazing. The other blue GTS on AT was equally neglected in almost the same way. I don’t get why people don’t care for these beautiful cars.R600 RTG
Suspension arms need doing, brakes and tyres.
Previous owners have let the tyres go to ply cords which would concern me, lack of petrolhead’ness
A real shame, I'll be giving this one a miss!Amazing. The other blue GTS on AT was equally neglected in almost the same way. I don’t get why people don’t care for these beautiful cars.
Champagne tastes and lemonade budgets as an venerable forum member would say!Amazing. The other blue GTS on AT was equally neglected in almost the same way. I don’t get why people don’t care for these beautiful cars.
Is that the Grey/Blue 2010 model? Do like that one, it's just the Brown on Brown interior that lets it down IMO.Amazing. The other blue GTS on AT was equally neglected in almost the same way. I don’t get why people don’t care for these beautiful cars.
Agreed - two ways to look at this,A real shame that this one has been unloved as they are rare beast and very special, but it's not too late to save it and bring it back to a beautiful example
If the dealer agreed to a ppi and is willing to work with interested parties on price, could be a worthy purchase
If you want/need 4 doors I can't think of a better way to spend £30/5k
miles, smaller engine, looks and some lolI'd agree with that as well. Why buy a QPV GTS for 25k when you could have this for circa £5k more:
I'm referring to the Blue Oceano QPV GTS currently on AT for £24k... number plate reads 'KNOB' or something similar, incidentally. Happy to share more details on this if needed, although I suspect changing the wood trim would be an utter faff (and expense) and not really worth it.Is that the Grey/Blue 2010 model? Is it easy to change the wood trim?
Each to their own! I'm of course biased, but despite the amazing value the QP6 GTS now represents I don't think its as beautiful to look at, nor am I a massive fan of the interior. Never driven one/been in one, mind.Much as I like the QPV GTS looks, I’d buy a QP6 GTS for the same money (ish). If I wanted a QPV, i’d buy a Sport GTS and save myself the cash. The pre-facelift car looks better to my eyes and the modern QP6 engine is mega.
Well said!Agreed - two ways to look at this,
a) It's "overpriced" and dealers shouldn't present cars that aren't perfect and everything is made right as part of the deal ... good luck with that, doesn't happen unless you're dealing with Dicky et al and then the price is commensurately higher.
or
b) This is a beautiful and rare car, it's £25k and treat it as a running project. One for the person who keeps their cars and isn't trying to get out with all their money intact. Depending on how much one wants to spend in one go it could be done quickly or spread out over time * <*NB: rusty Subframes being the biggest caveat, more so than Variators. if the subframes are shot then it may change the calculus and be worth holding out for one of the other 50 odd RHD cars left>
