Hi all I’ve been told I can’t leave the house for 12 weeks is it best to disconnect my battery or put it on trickle charge

Trickle charge every time using a good maintainer such as CTEK. Keeps battery in top order and all the electronic settings as you have them as opposed to losing them by disconnecting. Put on axle stands or tyre saver blocks too.

If you cannot leave house and garage is detached then disconnect.
It is only 10 mins to put everything back as you wish

If the car is on you drive or in your garage whether attached or detached i would leave it as is , and make a daily every other daily routine of going out and starting it , sit inside add to the brmm brmm noises for 5/10 minutes should be fine , even reverse it out and drive it back in so the tyres are repositioned

Sorry to here you are going to have to lock yourself away for a such a long time - I hope all will be ok.

Personally I think you could make an argument that your car is as safe as your house and therefore no reason you should be able to get out for a regular drive (conflicting on this though).

I would stick mine on a ctech rather than disconnect and put her to sleep.

I took the road tax back off the GS this morning and declared SORN again.

As leisure drives are supposedly off limits and the car is quite conspicuous out and about I thought probably best not to take any chances.
