Can’t wait for this - I haven’t done any prep or thought about whether I’m meant to do anything, etc, but that will be a task for the weekend. I’m hoping it’s as simple as make sure my tires are fully inflated, fill the car with fuel, and we’re done...

Empty the car of any **** that's floating about, consider emptying the glove box etc. You'll be instructed to do it on the day anyway mind, other than that, you're good to go really.

Enjoy, I've loved my time with Car Limits and really need to get another day booked!

I remember it well, ‘‘twas the end of the day and tyres were tired...

You're too kind, Newton. I'd like to blame the tyres, but mostly I'd lost faith in my brakes and myself. Also, Shaun of the Bread was in the navigator's seat and I think he'd spotted a kebab van.

Ditto. I'm childishly excited. My car's still at the dealer in Cambridge and I'm still in Sweden, but we'll be reunited on Saturday.

Can anyone remember what time we're supposed to be there? I assume 8.30 or so, but will check.

It'll be great to see Newton and Dean again and to finally meet Jon, plus Oliver around lunchtime.

@Crofty, are you still booked for the Wednesday?
Yes all booked for Wednesday, not sure who I’m sharing the day with but should be good, only one small issue....need to get rid of these!! Luckily it’s an auto so if I can get in the alfa I’m still going! AD40F2C1-1435-42B3-A634-536ACA0CEFC3.jpeg
Was hoping to head up on Tuesday for some advanced viewing & catch up, but due to the dodgy knee I’m a bit behind with work.

Bugger! Good luck fixing that fast, fella. Unfortunately, I'll be working on Wednesday or I'd come along and see if you can pirouette with as much style and grace as I almost certainly will.

Isn’t working a bind!!! I’m sure with all those cylinders & ponies there will be plenty of pirouetting going on, all perfectly under control no doubt. I’m really hoping the knee plays ball for Wednesday. Been bed/sofa bound for 3 days following doctors orders...I’m doing my bit let’s hope my body follows suit! I look forward to some video footage from your day! Reminiscent of MAF on the way to LeMans no doubt56CC091F-08D6-42FD-824D-F2529656EB88.png

So, apparently a clean car is a fast car, right!?

With my driving skills I need every advantage I can get, so have just thoroughly cleaned mine!

Am very much looking forward to getting it filthy again!

God, that's lovely, Jon. By the time we finish on Tuesday I'd like to see chunks of tyre stuck fast to the lower rear wings.

Need to wash mine tomorrow. And fill up with fuel, come to think of it.

Good call on the fuel, not sure where mine is at so will bring it anyway, not like I’ve a long trek in the morning!

I’ll have my winter rears with me as well as jacks and torque wrench etc.

Car washed, wheels all torqued up to 180Nm, boot emptied of shite. Next stop, tyre pressures and fuel.

Newton - where's your go-to place for PS4Ss? Not that I'll get some for tomorrow, but I'm assuming I might need some afterward.

Elite on the A13 at Rainham, you can order online but they may not have stock, I’m waiting on mine later this week.

Check with Catman, he may have somewhere in Harlow.

Ta. I just want somewhere that knows what they're doing, jacking points, gives a sh!t etc. So it's mail order and a local fitter or if Elite can supply and fit at the night price then happy days. I'll give 'em a call.

If you order online from Elite, follow it up with a phone call and tell them you want a batch matched pair and they will do it for you!

My usual tyre man does all of the above at a great price but doesn’t stock loads but I use Elite as they are great with a Hunter geo setup which I’ll need when I fit the new tie rods.
