You would have thought for the sake of £30.00 they would have changed all the badges that have gone slightly milky, its an easy enough thing to do , on such a stunning car and the ultimate colour in my view , its on par with Fuji

Some price thoughts. My 05 05 facelift manual 46k 4200 is for sale at a small retailer for £16k.

Add £2k for a larger retailer, £1k to get to a CC, £2.5k for a year younger and £2k for a 20k mileage adjustment. Is a GS therefore worth £6.5k more than a 4200?

Its a lovely car Pats old one and yes it has tech cloth but doesn't detract from the interior....But, it was up for 32k and would never buy one without full leather for that as they are hard to shift without full leather....Good or not...

I would love that car, i remember saying "they may take 28.5k for it" and it caused an uproar, be interesting to see now whether if you offered them 28.5 k what would they say.

Adam, IMO, when it was at 32k it was unlikely that they would have taken 28.5k. That was then, but they might take 28.5 now if you offered. In 6 months they might take 25k for it if they are desperate to move it on and they have had no interest, but it's unlikely they would take 25k right now.

The problem is that it's a colour that will not appeal to everyone and it has tech cloth.......I love it and would have it and although most on here love it I bet most wouldn't have over a more subdued hue...

Tried to find the thread the other day, couldn't. Shows that you always know what your talking about Adam. I reckon I could get that car for £27k now.

I think when we first discussed it about 3/4 weeks ago it was probably a bit apprehensive to suggest that it may be possible to buy it for 5.5k less than what the dealer was advertising it for, however, being a marmite colour, it is doubtful that it will have sold quickly, and also, quite a few members said at the time, 33k was a little steep.

Personally, I think milage is a massive influence on the price of GS's. 20k difference would knock more than £2k of IMO.

Personally, if I was in the market I would have it without question, for the right price. The colour would not faze me in the slightest. And, as it isn't 'loud' enough already, I would get a set of Larinis to make it stand out even more!

Andy, I don't think about what it might be worth when I finish with it, I just buy the car I like and drive it. When I need to move it on I take what I can get for it. Life really is too short.
