Im coming down early but my business partner who I share the cars with may need to come down a bit later, if he misses the brief I presume he wont be allowed on track?

looks like rain - more fun then!!!

I sort of hope so as it'll make my tyre choice that bit easier as my semi slicks have precious life left in them. I'll be annoyed though if I bring normal tyres then it's dry. Last TD I did was in June at Angelsey in a gale with a good inch of standing water on the track all the way round. probably the most fun I've had on a TD in years and almost no tyre wear to boot!

BBC are currently saying rain on Thursday then cloudy but dry on Friday with rain early evening for Cardiff area.

Ah well, at least we'll be able to buy petrol this time.

Booked in on the Monday after to have a new set of PZero's put on.

It will be dry ;-)

I'm seeing if I can crash at my folks house Thursday night but might not as my old man is in work at 5am so wouldn't want to wake him. But if I do then I'll leave the ar at Chepstow and drive down from there with u lot otherwise I'll meet u up a the M4 services.

NB guys the average speed cameras around Bristol on the M4 work! And the A48M from Chepstow to the M4 I wouldn't push it over 140-150 around the corners.

Looking that way and after a quick inspection last night my semi slicks have more meat on them than I recalled so it'll be wheel changing before setting off tomorrow for me. Oh joy, a long motorway journey in the stupid noisy car, my favourite.

Andy - I'm picking a friend up from Chepstow on Friday morning so will meet you guys from there rather than Magor at 8am. What time & where shall we meet you in CHepstow or will it be obvious from the early morning chorus of Italian Horses?

My Lotus is in bits at Westover Sports cars as we speak. Bits are being overnighted to them from Lotus so it should be mended by tomorrow afternoon. I also have tyres coming from Eliseparts arriving their tomorrow so that they can fit them, MOT it, and then put the not so legal ones back on for the track day and then put the new ones back on Monday so it's legal again - what a faf!

Frank, no issues as they will give him a brief after 1 to 1....

Looks like the weather will be fine.....

Wait at Larkfield garage which is the one by the roundabout as you head into Chepstow....About 07:45ish should be OK.

Have a great day at Llandow fellas!

Cheers Dave, we will!

Just like to say a big thanks to Andy for taking on the headache of organising, paying then having to get all the money in...it is appreciated!

On another note I need a helmet as my usual lender has put all his stuff into storage. I called and emailed the circuit about if any helmet would do as I was going to go for a scooter helmet but I have had no reply.

Does anyone know what standards, if any the helmet has to reach?

Would it be okay for us to meet those of you who are meeting at Magor Services at 8am? If weather is good we shall be taking the Integrale, if raining the 156. :) Cheers Tania & Mike
