Truthfully how long does it take to put something like this on and off?

Silly question but as my new GTS will be under a carport which in turn is under a tree I had considered one of these. But I know what I'm like, impatient and careless so the odds of me fannying around with one of these are slim. And who's to say that any grit etc you pick up out on the road won't be rubbed into the paint work?

It looks great, even under a cover :)

Conrad, I have a similar dust cover on my motorbike and between removing it, unplugging the battery conditioner, and unlocking the ground anchor, not to mention putting on helmet and gloves, I find it quicker to hop on my Brompton for most short trips. I suspect a car cover would have the same result.

guess with outdoor covers it is a choice of risk. the risk of seagull poops/tree sap etc against the risk of scraping grit under the cover with the wind.......pays your money, takes your choice.

5 mins, I've got a heavy duty cover and used it for over 2 years and it's quicker than having to clean off all the bird ****, sap, airborne contaminates etc than accumulate over the year and fade and damage the paint and protect the interior from the UV and heat. I've always covered my cars if they have to remain out side for any period of time. Cars in the garage at present but it's still got its cover on as does the TVR. Getting a cover for the MR2 next week.
