Official Maserati car mats

Folks,

My car mats don't seem the greatest fit, the rears do, they have two connectors that pop into their counterparts on the floor.

However the fronts seem wrong they seem too long and like they are a poor fit. The drivers side has two connectors on the mat but I couldn't see any on the floor. It also has a massive round hole In the mat for somthing but God knows what, that bit sits under the seat so you don't see it.

This is the sticker from the drivers mat are these correct for a GT?

Sound like mine, Ryan. The front clips are under the seats - you need to raise the front of the seat as high as you can and then forage around underneath to find them. Not sure about the hole but there's probably a good reason. Pretty sure mine have one as well.

Mine were an 800 quid option 14 years ago...can you imagine paying that for a set of effin mats!

Must admit though they do look pretty cool in green lambswool with the stitched in Maser logo all these years later..

You can get them now aftermarket for a fraction of that price.

Can choose colour and border of your choice. Logo and writing. Thickness as good as OEM apparently.

Have had great reviews.

Lambswool, don't know that was an option.
Do you have a comfy pair of slippers to match Dave?

Remember to take a couple of layers of skin off your knuckles as you wrestle to get them clipped in, under the front of the seat. I would also say from my experience that the OEM one's are pretty thin and rubbish. Mine has 12,000 miles on them and the drivers one is starting to wear through. By contrast the Volvo has 18,000 and looks more or less new.

And no, I don't where high heels to drive the Mas...even at the weekend!

They look smart, the boot liner is a nice touch.

I genuinely thought mine were aftermarket until I saw the Maserati sticker, just seem too big and cumbersome

You don't need to get them sent form the USA to get decent mats made

The come from Auto Style based in Milton Keynes http://www.autostyle.co.uk/catalog/index.php they can be a little slow but the quality is first class for around £60. I have got them to make mats for quite a few of my cars now.

I can vouch for this company too - I've used them with equal success. They will do any sort of custom embroidery you want; my daughter has her name on hers.

One of the guys here arranged for some from Europe somewhere ( I think). Price was good and the looked great but my drivers side has started to fade ( the red trident).

I had these made for my GranSports

Are they mats over mats?

The cars come with clip in mats from the factory, do these go over these, so you have have three layers?

These look a lot nicer than the rubber ones I've got with small Maserati script on it which I presume are original Maserati. Also the drivers one seems too long as well. Need to investigate skinning my knuckles trying to fit it properly as it currently rides up over the loud pedal.
