Guys,

I posted previously asking for some advice on GT or GC etc ( thanks all of your comments/assistance). Now I've taken the plunge into Maserati life and purchased a new GT Auto from Maranello. (Grigio Granito / Bianco Pregiato leather). Get it in a week and very excited. Will post some photos in due course. Hope to see some fellow Maserites on the roads of Richmond/Surrey in the near future.

Good man (I assume - there are few ladies among us!) and welcome. We appear to be a friendly bunch by and large, and there are always a few willing opinions or experience able to help as and when - quite the opposite to Pistonheads :)

That must be an excellent feeling driving that out of the showroom and down the road.

Expensive feeling -))) imagine the vat and depreciation which will have
gone by the first round-about!? But as my Mum used to say ' life is not a dress rehearsal!?'

Just keep it shiny and controlled, and the money aspect shouldn't bother you for years.

It looks fantastic, and it will be a mighty long week! You'll be pleased to know that prices have remained stable over the last year, but you will not worry about depreciation once you have the sport button pressed, and your right foot planted to the floor.

Oh the noise!?!

And the rest! I'm two years in and still grinning like a loon. Good job, well done.

That noise! It's like a drug!? I live in a little hamlet just outside Richmond and the Georgian houses on both sides of the road allow the noise to bounce off them!? It's incredible.....

I love the fact that you actually have 3 modes if you want them. Noise (auto), More noise (auto/sport button) and Incredible Noise (sport and manual paddles)!

Never get tired of it and the smile is permanent.
