Performance Air Filter

Hi Guys,
Just a quick question to see if anyone has changed their Air Filter to the Maserati 4200 High Performance Air Filter and if there is an improvement on sound orperformance at all? Feedback greatly appreciated.

Hi mate ,me again yes i have the bmc air filter on the 4200, got it from FD direct about 18 months ago but there are variou places that do them now , Noor does and so do opie oils i think

Thought there was a slight difference sound wise only , but it was probably the pecebo effect soon wore off when it was overtaken by the tubi's

He he...yeh i thought as much.
Its like someone saying hey mate your exhaust is really loud and for a short while the brain says yeh it is...then your brain filters it out again...
when i first did the exhaust on the spider i though OMG.... am i going to be able to live with this brutal sound...Now....I think the neighbours Nissan micra is louder!!!
