Wow Matt, 13mpg is the same as my 5.7 Hemi Jeep, you must be caning it everywhere, keep it up!!

What can I say, it goes a bit like this:
1. Start the car and let her warm up
2. Turn off Auto mode and select reverse
3. Parking sensors beep and off we go.
4. Drive for about 1m and my finger starts to hover over the SPORT button
5. I can't resist, SPORT engaged, window dropped, nail it and marvel at the Rock Orchestra emitting from the rear.
6. Fuel economy plunges, but the smile escalates!

Life's good!

I must admit the temptation is massive and I have to give in every time I go out, it's a good job the AC does not have an mpg meter it might slow me down, or I would turn it off!!

James,
Which pads did he put on, were they the FD 2000, he wanted me to have those, but I kept the Pagid's on as they were still in good nick. I would be interested on your thoughts on the pads you have now.
Cheers
R

Robert
We did not discuss pad brand. I assume he replaced like for like, so probably FD 2000.
I am still bedding the pads in at the moment so cannot comment on their performance yet.

Just heard that all the motorists in the UK are going on strike and not buying any petrol for a week, just serves the buggers right, that should bring the price down.

Yes Robert.....its called people power...when politicians only serve themselves and their multinational allies to shaft the ordinary man...........we should all revert to cycling and horses............;)...( Maserati owners excluded of course)

That's a ridiculous price and they deserve something nice and sticky chucking all over their pumps.

Just filled up at Tesco's in Bournemouth and it was £1.37.9 (can't forget the point nine!) drove straight up to the pumps no worries. If the strike does take hold after Easter, I'll use the Kawasaki to get to work and if I have to siphon off the fuel from the car. (If this can be done)
