I just noticed your Avatar's nose! Great one. :)

C

Robert and Ross grumbled when I briefly swaped the hound for a grill-shot, resplendent in Tricolore. So it seemed time for the dawg to get a nose job. It was a bugger of a job to get him to sit still, though.

Adam how did you do the stripes? Is it vinyl wrap?

Enamel paint. The green needed a little white to lighten it up a bit otherwise they're just straight-from-the-pot gloss email paints from those tiny little tins. Masking the curved grill slats was too hard to I over-painted and then tidied up the edges with a Stanley knife blade. Seemed to work ok and should be pretty resilient. If I ever tire of it I can scrape it all off and re-black the grill again.

Thanks Robert. I'm not the first to do it but I really like the look of it. Adds a touch of Italian flair to an otherwise bland nose.

So if any forum members want their dog's nose painting with enamel then give me a call, I'll be pleased to oblige.

Adam this is Ted. If you fancy painting his nose you may want to bring Kevlar. :)

We find it best not to rile him or sit in his seat.

Handsome lad, even he is 90% muscle and has a bite-force about the same as a hyena.

Anyway, mission only partly accomplished on account of half his nose being hidden plus proximity to his bitey end being a health and safety issue. On balance a small neck-tat seemed better. I hope he likes it. If not, it wasn't me.

When I was at RAF Lyneham the NCO boss of the dog section was a Chief Technician Barker, who always answered the phone as "Chief Barker". Happy days!

**** pic quality but here is mine. 2013 GTS with full carbon fibre exterior and interior trim including side sills, rear spoiler, exhaust pipe covers, steering wheel and more! Loved it the minute I saw it in the showroom. Thats my son in the pic and not me.
