I’m no ornithologist as I only really know the types of tits there are.

This strange bird however was moving about in a park in Islington today by the Regents Canal. Can anyone identify it? My best guess is that it is a young/fledgling woodpecker.

Brian, Bill and Charlie were at the Stones east London rehearsal studio in early '68 waiting for Mick and Keith to turn up, Brian started playing around on his guitar and came up with the lick, Mick walked in and said ''I like that, keep playing it''.

I suppose the riff could have been earlier though

Part of the Magpie family and no doubt find easy pickings in the city...rather like our ocean going herring gulls.
