The most recent three sold (over the last two weeks) went for £125k, £70k, and £40k. Manual gearbox cars are worth more than autos, and the older cars more than the later ones. Obviously condition is the other factor.
As V12 Ferrari’s go, they are still quite “cheap” to buy. But they are expensive to restore, so it’s most sensible to buy the best example available. Don’t do what I did!

All three appeared to be remarkably similar, and all were very nice! But at auction, if two people battle it out, up it goes! The cheapest one was an absolute steal.

It’s called Prugna. A colour introduced by Ferrari in 1980 and perfect on the 400.

Prugna is a funny colour it suits some cars and not others, looks good on the 400 but I hate it on the Alfa 155 (much to the annoyance of the 155 owners who all seem to love it)
