Hmm been dancing around buying a set, how do you find them?

Still not used it on any big jobs but it lifts my Gransport with ease and aligns perfectly with the jacking points. The second height position gives you more than enough room to get right under the car. Quality of the kit is very good and the car is rock solid when raised and on the safety locks. Mine has the 12 V option so could be used outdoors or away from mains power if you should ever need to.

Price seems a bit steep if like me, you only have an occasional need, but I think this kit will enable me to do much more that I would have previously attempted.

Can this be used on a qp 5?

Not sure on the jack point spacing for the QP but I'm guessing its not wildly different. Here is the max and min spacing for the version of quickjack I have (BL-5000SLX)
There is an extended length version if the SLX is to small (BL-5000EXT)

Lift point spread (SLX)
I - Maximum: 1,524 mm (60")
J - Minimum: 800 mm (31.5")

Thank you, may look Into the truck version, not much more expensive but take over 3 ton. Just checked wiki an a qp 5 is almost 2 ton, so wirh a full tank fuel is over two ton. I'm 42 and safety first, when younger had some manual adjustable ramps rated up to 500kg per side, well it didn't appreciate my 635csi and one side started to buckle, and I was only lifting the rear

Costco sell the 7000 but not on offer at present but still much cheaper than the QJ site.

Worth waiting for the offers though. I picked mine up for around £850 :)

Thanks, Yes, would be the 12v version I need. Price is steep but if they do what they say would be worth it.

Mirafiori sporting all day long, best car I owned as a kid by a mile. Mine had twin 40’s and would rinse all the Rs escorts in my neck of the woods.
would of kept it it hadn’t disintegrated before my very eyes.
That brings back some childhood memories… My mum had a normal metallic blue Fiat Mirafiori - used and a real rust bucket in the late 80s / early 90s, used to take us kids to school and oh man we used to get the mickey taken as most of my mates thought it was a Lada… I kept saying no it’s a Fiat!

My dad had two 1.6 Mirafiori; one green and one beige. The beige one was always flattening its battery so my overwhelming memory of that car was pushing the d@mn thing! He then bought a green Strada (HCN 45X) which I learned to drive in.

Lol :) must have been a common feature of these cars and you also remind me of when we had to also help push bump start the car many times when it also kept draining the battery too! The last memory I had of it was when the scrappy blokes came to tow it away, I also remember now helping to fit a new replacement front wing for it, brand new pattern wing bought for circa £20…. Then rattle can spraying it from Halfords.
