In my day I owned an AH Sprite in Primrose Yellow and a 1700 engine. Not much weight to carry around so it could shift. Sold it to a mate who immediately bent it and then scrap
I also had a Stag in White. The 3.5 blew the cylinder head and was knackered so in went a straight 6 Triumph.
Lost some power but acceleration was pretty good
Sold it went I went on a tour of foreign climes
Happy daze
