My daughter abuses my Amazon Prime account to support her teaching role - even getting things delivered direct to the school. The Ms bought rulers, pencils and pens for her pupils last month.
It's like that here, as well. Thanks for supporting the teachers in your lives @Scaf and @OneballMy daughter abuses my Amazon Prime account to support her teaching role - even getting things delivered direct to the school.
I don’t mind, but it really should’t be necessary.
Even colour printing is done on my printer as the school has placed restrictions on how much colour printing teachers can do.
Black and white photos of your butt are so much more arty though.10 years ago I had an almighty row with my boss about photocopying in colour so much so it led to my resignation
nothing much changed then
I still have my sextant. In the 70s before commercial satellite navigation systems. A sextant, chronometer and a nautical almanac and I could navigate a ship across any ocean and make a port with surprising accuracy. It certainly gave you a sense of achievment using the sun and stars rather than allowing some electronic box.At 15, I did the same. I still have (and use) hammers, dollies, snips, etc. that I bought back in the 1950s , for use in my job as apprentice panelbeater.
We are making a collection for the local food bank in work and must say I have never seen that flavour packet soup before.

Me, too. And my marlinspike, which has decidedly different utilities...!I still have my sextant. In the 70s before commercial satellite navigation systems.
