I know the majority of cars here are coupes, but I am so chuffed with my QP i wanted to try and post some pics.

The new wheels and tyres were fitted at Dick Lovett Maserati in Swindon at the weekend (thanks to Alan in parts) and for those that are interested I have uploaded some pics - sits rather nicely with my daily driver Range Rover Sport Supercharged - the wheels are quite similar as i had hoped...... The final pic is what is planned for next week - DL are painting the calipers in yellow. Not to everyone's taste i know but as has already been posted on another thread, neither is the interior LOL :)

Believe me, in the flesh it is excellent! Its certainly rare ....... ;)

Stunning Marc, it's a beautiful example. My favourite is the first one, looks great from that angle. Enjoy every moment, stunning cars.

Marc, your car looks great and the wheels only compliment it, as will the calipers. And the interior?..... Nowt wrong with it.

The interior looks better in your pics, looked bright red and white in the dealer shots!

Stunning car, I wish, I wish, I wish I needed a 4 door car for SOMETHING!

Lewis...you don't have to need one .... Its a QP...Just buy one....It would be a worthy addition to your fleet...

Nice pics, I think the QP's best angle is the rear 3/4 as in your first photo. How did they charge you for the wheels? Did they take the previous wheels in as a part exchange?

I like the yellow calipers, look very smart...

I actually like the interior combo, like you said very different.

Hi Mark777

I too have a QP and a Range Rover TDV8, funny old world ain't it.
How does your QP ride on the 20" rims. The reason I ask is because some people feel the standard QP spring rate and set up gives a jiggly ride on uneven surfaces.
One way to improve that is to go up a profile in the tyres. I have done this on my 07 Sport GT Manual and it makes the ride so much more compliant and feels like it sits down better on the road.

Pirelli do a PZEROs in 245x40x20 for the fronts and 285x35x20 for the rears. The rolling circumference front to rear is the same so no traction control issues but because of the larger profile it increases the gearing by 3.7% which when cruising on the continent at around 100 mph means better mpg but you wouldn't notice any change lower down. Another plus point is it fills the wheel arches better and makes the car look a bit beefier. there is just enough clearance in the front arch for full lock turns without fear of any rubbing and the final bonus is you are less likely to kerb the rims.

Best regards

No real difference I am glad to say - that said I have 22" Overfinch alloys on the RRS and so am used to a harder than average ride ;)

The trade off between looks and ride are fine................
