What happened to him...

He collapsed on the pitch as he walked over to receive a throw in. 2 steps hit the floor but was out cold before he hit the floor. Received CPR on the pitch. No collision or anything in the run up to it.

He just collapsed….You could see his eyes rolling in his head as fell…Just terrible….The medics came in straight away and gave him CPR. The rest of the team made a circle around him. His wife came onto the pitch. It was just heart breaking to see. Match stopped and taken off air and righty so. Fingers crossed he is OK.

That’s good news.. one thing for sure is they have best medical teams in the grounds.
The colonel that replaced my hip used to be at lots of football matches on freebies..

Glad it looks He is out of the woods..

Certainly made for unpleasant viewing, brought back memories of being behind a guy at traffic lights who wasn’t so lucky. Seems he might be over the worst luckily.

Didn’t see it, I was watching the shitshow at Edgbaston. Just read about it, thankfully he’s ok and they’re about the restart the fixture. I’m sure it was awful to see.

If this doesn't p you off then you aren't human.

BBC News - Buxted FC: Vandals smash defibrillator kit after Eriksen collapse

The vandalism is upsetting, but the media's use of 'after' to try to link two completely unconnected (presumably) events is a warning sign of bait or propaganda.
