Hello guys, is there a detailed write-up on how to replace the cabin pollen air filter? I've used the search function but could not find any instructions on how to. Many thanks,

Err, sorry, anyone knows in what direction should be the arrow on the pollen filter? I've put it pointing towards the inside of the car

Hi George, I changed mine a couple of months ago and I seem to recall the filter fitted in the carrier easier from one direction. I used a pattern filter. I can't recall if it had a arrow on the side.
In any case I'm sure either direction would be fine, as air entering the cabin isn't a mission critical performance function.

Yes, that's right arrow towards the car matrix

Thank you Gp79, thing is the filter fits in either position. I've looked for an arrow on the plastic frame but there is none. The one on the car was filthy and when I removed it it did not dawn on me to look for the arrow and then I could not tell in what position it was. Was a Denso, heavier than the WIX I replaced it with. But it's a fairly straightforward process and I didn't even have to move the wiper motor out of the way (most likely because it's a left hand car)

Nice timing. I have a shiny new MANN filter to fit to mine at some point :)

The MANN filter cost quite a bit more than the alternatives, so hopefully the quality is justified.
