Yes I agree the internals to make 4.7 capacity. It would be awesome keeping then the dry sump etc.
Whether changing the induction to maybe the Ferrari twin throttle bodies could be achieved but this would add to the complications significantly!

That's also what I'd like to explore. The issue could be setting up the electronics to manage everything properly.

I would imagine the bulk of the issue will be different fuel mapping. Luckily, that's the easiest thing to get sorted

Looks a great project Phil. I's be looking to swap out the engine rather than trying to overcomes electrical issues. As a 4.2, it's hardly a bad car!

I think the Maserati engines are as reliable as any other Euro engine, Merc, BMW, Audi etc.
