QP GTS Red wrap off

Remember this QP GTS...It had a red carbon wrap on it and looked terrible.....

Now its off doesn't it look stunning.......why did they cover such a lovely car in the first place...I love it...

Does improve it a lot. I am not big on grey leather but that is personal. It does not look cheap but then there is so little QP/GT stock around of that age that I understand the pricing.

Was this the one wrapped in carbon red for some Arab Princess or something? IIRC I googled the name as I'd never heard of her.....interestingly, neither had google! LOL!

BB, I'm with you hate grey leather but the one thing about the light grey is that its so light it is almost not grey...If you know what I mean....and yes it is too much...Meridien have a GT S in black for the same money 22k on the clock and with that all important Maserati warrenty......

There is a grey QP which I see knocking around Stapley quite a bit and I always think it is the best colour!

How do you mean by a carbon wrap? Did it have some sort of fake weave pattern to it? Any old pics around of the car with the wrap on?

Yep, it have a wrap on it that looked like carbon fibre....Horrid...Still on ebay with ti on.....

I have seen that Grey QP a few times and it just doesn't suit it, i would only want either Blue or Black on a QP with Tan seats.

It looks understated in grey. Not too sure about the tinted windows but I'd still like it in my garage (if it would fit).

You'll come round a grey QP in a year or so - you never know I might even have one by then....

I am not sure, i think Enzo has the nicest QP on the forum, my ideal colour combo. Just think grey is a lifeless colour.

The GTS in Graphite grey is lovely ... Not black...not grey..Somewhere in the middle.....It looks in great condition as well. But then if they have just taken the wrap off then it must have had a full detail so should look great.

That matt finish is really peculiar. I saw a E series a month or so back on the M62 with a matt black wrap on it, it looked as if it was covered in soot.

Don't like wrap on cars........especially the matt look.....Doesn't do a thing for me...

Matt wrap is horrible, that LP640 Amari has in which is wrapped matt is not nice.
