QP (supposed) MSP, ABS and skyhook failure

Hi all, hope you're well. Can anyone throw any light on this one. My QP has thrown up a fault on e MSP, ABS and the suspension. It's done it sporadically a couple of times and now seems more insistent. I've not noticed any difference in driving it and given it thinks all three are playing up I am presuming some so of sensor issue. It's having a service at the end of the month so it can get sold then I'm just wondering if anyone has any ideas.

My guess would be same as you - one of the ABS and/or Skyhook sensors. Are they the same or is there one of each on each wheel? I'm not sure but, anyway, had the problem on my 4200 and it was an easy fix.

Ta, yes it definitely seems the most plausible explanation. As it happens almost exactly the same thing happened to our SLK in December and that was just a £30 ABS sensor.

It may sound funny but check the front passenger footwell very carefully for any signs of water ingress or dampness under the carpets. The control ECU is located in the lowest point of the car and if water has penetrated it (and it happens) you will get multiple sporadic and random faults including all those you mention. In my case the bulkhead had not been properly sealed during build and these faults happened intermittently before the ECU failed. Another sign of this will be the vehicle fogging up more than you would expect.
