Hiya,

Small issue with passenger side rear brake light on my QP V, warning came up on the dash to take it to these dealer, - £78 quid quoted for 2 bulbs, hee hee, no thanks), swapped both bulbs out for new Bosch bulbs, offset pins, correct power etc., still got the warning on the dash and no brake light. Driver side is fine. Any fix suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

If it was anything like mine that blew on the Modena trip, the connections are probably a tad corroded. I'd give them a clean and try again. They are just ordinary 2 Euro bulbs, and trivial to change. £78 is outrageous.

No voltmeter handy at the moment, but might need to check that. I'll check the connections again in the morning, but all seemed ok when I fitted the bulbs. £78, I know, - I'm still laughing at that idea, as you say, outrageous. The new bulbs literally cost me £1.40 for the 2 from Eurospares. Is there a separate fuse for that side of the brake light or are they both off the same one?
