A white sport GTS is still a better looking saloon than any other saloon.
I quite like it, very rare too I’d guess.

Never thought white was good as a wedding car either, inevitably will be a different shade of white to the dress, not good for pics, silver is better I reckon for weddings!

How about grey? ;)

I've seen a Bianco Fuji QP Sport GT S at SportsItalia a few times over the years, I think it looks ace in white.

Rare Red Badge Edition no less!

Looks like the rare red badge edition is now on eBay classifieds at £10.4k which might be of interest to some here at that price

And the purchase price!! How can something like this be €75,000 in the Netherlands and about £15,000-£20,000 in the UK? Is it just taxes?

It's not taxes although the first owner would have paid some serious tax on registration cars just seem to hold value longer this side of the Channel.
Early QPV duo select are on average around the 20K mark I look daily.

My attribution for price differences is down to
- higher taxes in some continental countries (particularly the south) made the starting price higher
- lower maintenance costs (labour) helps retain the value
- rarity as some of these cars were very successful in the UK, sold too many and secondary market reflects that
- LHD car market is bigger and growing with purchasing power increase in Eastern Europe

Interestingly it used to the other way around. I bought a LHD 3200 from Monaco the year after they were launched as they were way cheaper than buying a RHD version in the U.K.
I also bought a used LHD 355 Spider, as that was cheaper. The saving was a good 20%.
At the time the press regularly reported on “Rip-Off Britain” - but now, for used cars, were appear to be cheaper.

I absolutely hate the whole airport/flying experience. It’s cool flying over the alps, and take off and landing has some adrenaline factor, but the rest of it. The boredom and frustration of sitting around, queuing - plus screaming kids, adults, no legroom.
I worked out that in the ten hours I spent waiting, flying and disembarking I could have made it to Calais from Milan in the same time.

I also end up with a horrific cold that last days and knocks me out which means I don’t earn. So it costs me money too, so flying is not as cheap as it seems.

Giving serious thought to buying a LHD car. Got quite tempted by a Kappa Coupe and Thesis while over there last week but 30 per cent import tax means that’s a no. The Kappa was also €15k, which is not far off, well, this.

I love everything about this, especially the interior. Any thoughts from the collective SM massive?

Just taking aloud; what a bout a Thema Turbo. An import will be over 30 years old so won’t attract the same Vat and Duty as a more modern car
