He was the useless Bongo Drum player in the useless original Tyrannosaurus Rex, with the equally useless Marc Bolan

I think you can see the drift already

Although not the answer to the question, your answer is also not quite correct. He was the second useless bongo player, Steve peregrine Took, being the first, and better player. :)

Original question is the drink related phrase.

Yes, between you you got it. Barman in Chicagos Lone Star Saloon. In the early 1900s he allegedly drugged and robbed his customers.

On 18th September 2013 a record was achieved for the first time and since that day the record continues to increase. So 3 questions in one question

1. What is the record?
2. Who achieved this record?
3. And what did they use to achieve this record?

Hmm

The only thing I can think of is something along the lines of

Furthest a man made object has been from the planet
NASA
Some kind of probe (Voyager?)

But really not convinced.

My initial thought was something to do with the space station. But the question suggests the same person is still doing whatever it is and breaking the record everyday.

Is there somebody either running or cycling round the world ?

This is not a space question, everything relates to here on earth

I am reminded of an old Arthur C Clarke novel.....[1]

C

[1] Islands in the Sky where a quiz winner was sent to a space station on the basis of the definition that station was still on Earth

1. Number of days i have been alive.
2. Me
3. Food, drinks and the air that i breath.

Well it fits the criteria of the question :)

Seroius answer. Something like miles driven by an american cab driver since his first day on the job.
