Domestic pets with two legs are a bit thin on the ground. Is it a bird of some sort? No idea about legislation change as a clue. Nor diet. I'll guess pidgeon - as in the racing variety. Do most cars not have one wedged into the front grill??

Clues so far: Two legs. A meat free diet. Something of the same name can be found in some of our cars. Mostly 4200s and QPs.

A few more clues:
Found in other older cars as well.

Mentioned in the how to guides.

ICE.

Got it...but to be fair when you said change in regulations I was thinking either Big Cats (tigers etc) or Birds of Prey...

Parrot. I had one in my car!

Correct the only two animals that can see behind them without turning their heads are rabbits and parrots.

Between two of you we got the right answers.

Rossyl over to you to set the next question. I dont think we have had a question from you so far.

Step 1, get a tortoise.
Step 2 with tin opener open tortoise
Step 3 Put tortoise in oven for 1 hour at gas mask 5 turning and basting in white whine sauce.
Step 4 Put cooked tortoise in bin and buy a pizza...with no pineapple.

I think No 10 came into public ownership when Robert Warpole became PM (although not called that then - another question for a later date maybe) which was in the 1700s but no idea who lived there before

Your right on that bit Andy. It was gifted to Warpole but he refused to accept it. He asked that it be loaned instead to whoever held the title of first lord of the treasury / PM.

I assume we are looking for the person that owned the house prior to warpole moving in. I vaguely remember something in a QI book i have about it. I would have to look it up which would be the same as a google search. So if were not including a butler or the chief mouser then im stuck on this one.

Clue, the surname of this person is quite similar to the character traits of its recent inhabitants.
